We spent last week in Estes Park, Colorado on a family vacation. We live in Kansas, so staying so close to Rocky Mountain National Park was a treat. (Don't worry, I'll have a full recap for you soon.)
We took a small hike to Copeland Falls on the first day of our vacation. We didn't see any wildlife, but we did see a few wild flowers.
The kiddo had fun, but I think her friend was tired from climbing.

Such pretty flowers. LOVE the last photo!
ReplyDeleteI just knew when I saw that yellow flower in the bunch it was going to be your entry! So glad it was! We've vacationed in Estes Park several times and always enjoyed it. When our parents were living, we'd pack all 3 of them, and all 3 of us in a mini van and drive there! My husband's family had a long tradition of going there too. I hope you all had a great time there!
ReplyDeleteThe photos are really lovely! So glad to see flowers still blooming. (My site is full of gloom and doom this week. ha!) And I can just imagine how tired those animals are! Hope the kiddo had fun too! :-)
Oh, I just noticed you have the Challenge of Travel badge up. I signed up too!
ReplyDeleteLovely shots - great colors. I love the last one - too cute indeed!!
